Most driveways don't fail all at once. They slowly develop ruts, soft spots, and drainage issues until you're navigating a mess every time you pull in. That's usually when people call us - and that's exactly the kind of situation we walked into on this one.

We started by clearing out the old material and getting down to a solid base. The area alongside the driveway needed attention too - overgrown, uneven, and not draining the way it should. We used the skid steer to work the grade, pulling material and shaping the ground so water has somewhere to go instead of sitting and softening the surface over time.

Once the grading was dialed in, we brought in solid rock and finished the driveway surface. Good rock matters. It packs down, holds its shape, and doesn't shift around every time someone drives over it. The goal is always a surface that holds up through seasons, not just a few months.

The finished result is clean and functional. The driveway edge sits flush, the grade runs away from the house, and the rock lays tight. It looks sharp, but more importantly, it performs. That's what proper grading and leveling gets you - a driveway that actually works the way it should.

Whether your driveway needs a full rebuild or just a fresh grade and rock, the process is the same. Get the base right, shape it correctly, and use the right material. Skip any of those steps and you're just delaying the same problem.
